My primary scientific goal is to advance the discovery of innovative treatments for disease and cancer through image analysis and machine learning.

Biological images are more than visual representations. Microscopy images contain rich, quantitative information about cellular structures that can drive new insights and discoveries.

My current work advances the field of image analysis and profiling by focusing on the quality of the images and segmentations acquired to extract morphological profiles. By emphasizing quality control, the insights acquired from image datasets will become stronger.
